Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs Vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 2 stalks Celery diced
  • 1 ea. Carrot shredded
  • 1 ea. Red pepper diced
  • 2 ea. Jalapeno pepper diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 lb. Ground turkey or beef
  • 1 bottle Beer
  • 1/2 c Tequila
  • 1/2 c Coffee
  • 1 can Beef broth
  • 1 can (lg.) Crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can Red kidney beans drained
  • 1 can Black beans drained
  • 3/4 c Dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 Tbs Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbs Paprika
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 can Refried beans drained (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

• Sauté Onion, Celery, Carrot, Red pepper, Jalapeno pepper and salt in Vegetable oil, till soft 5-10 minutes
• Add Garlic, cook I minute
• Add Ground turkey or beef and cook till brown
• Add Beer, Tequila, Coffee, Beef broth, Crushed tomatoes, Red kidney beans, Black beans, Dry roasted peanuts, Chili powder, Crushed red pepper, Paprika, Worcestershire sauce and Black pepper
• Simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally
• If chili is too thin or you want extend it stir in Refried beans drained
