Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1 pkg (4 oz serving size) instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 pkg Entermans pound cake, cubed
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jame
  • Additional strawberries for garnish
  • Toasted slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

In large mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water. Add pudding mix; beat well. Chill until thickened, about 20 minutes. Fold in whipped cream.

Spoon 2 cups of the pudding mixture into a 4-quart round glass serving bowl; top with half of the cake cubes, half the strawberries, half the jam and half the remaining pudding mixture.

Repeat step, ending with pudding mixture. Chill at least 4 hours.

Garnish with additional strawberries and almonds. Cover leftovers; refrigerate .
