Luscious Lemon Squares

Ingredients

• 1 c flour
• 1/2 c soft butter
• 1/4 c p sugar
• 1 c sugar
• 2 tsp grated lemon peel
• 2 T lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 egg
• p sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350
Mix flour, butter and p sugar
Press into 8x8 pan building up edges
Bake 20 minutes
Beat sugar, lemon peel and juice, baking powder salt and eggs until light and fluffy]Pour over hot crust.
Bake 25-30 minutes
Cool
Dust with p sugar
