Original Toll House Cookies

Ingredients

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Sift together 2 1/4 cups sifted flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt; set aside
Combine 1 cup softened butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp water; beat until creamy
Beat in 2 eggs.
Add flour mixture; mix well
Stir in one 12 oz pkg (2 cups) Nestles semi-sweet chocolate morsels, 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts.

Drop by well-rounded half tsps onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 100 2" cookies.
