Spicy Fried Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 (15 oz) cans chickpeas (drained, rinsed, patted dry)
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • 2 tsp finely grated lime zest

Preparation

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sauté chickpeas for 15 minutes or until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with smoked paprika, cayenne, kosher salt, and lime zest.
