Step 1
Mix 4 parts water to 1 part sugar. Bring water to a boil to retard the onset of fermentation and DO NOT add food coloring.
Change nectar twice a week or up to three times a week in hotter weather. This mixture keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
