Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour, unsifted
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in boiling water, remove from head, add flour and stir until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Shape on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 deg. for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350 deg. for 20 - 30 minutes or until crisp.

Makes about 16.

Stab once on side with sharp knife to let out steam.

Ice with chocolate icing and fill with whipped cream.
