Ingredients
- 1 5lb standing rib roast
- 1 tablespoon seasoning - 1 cup salt, 1/4 cup black pepper, 1/4 cup garlic powder
- Mustard Horseradish Sauce
- 1 1/2 cup mayo
- 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 1/3 cup sourcream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Rub roast with seasoning and place on rack in pan with rib side down (fat side up).
Roast for 1 hour. Turn off oven and leave roast in pan for 3 hours - DO NOT OPEN OVEN!! 30-40 minutes before serving turn oven to 375 and reheat.
For sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
