Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into bits
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a small bowl, stir the flour, baking powder and salt until combined.
3. In a double boiler over barely simmering water, melt the butter, unsweetened chocolate and bittersweet chocolate.
4. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar on high speed for 3 minutes or until pale and fluffy.
5. Add the chocolate mixture and vanilla and beat 30 seconds. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
6. Using a small cookie scoop, drop batter 3 inches apart. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until tops are cracked and soft inside.
