Pee Wee Scout Cookies

Taken from the Pee Wee Scout books. These are a family favorite. They eat them as fast as they come out of the oven. I altered the recipe a bit! I don't use the nuts, we have nut allergies!

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 1 cup softened butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup oatmeal
• 2 cup cornflakes (I use special K)
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup butterscotch chips
• 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 5 ingredients, then add the rest. Drop by small spoonfuls of dough on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes. Let cool a minute, then move to cooling racks.
