Crunchy Onion Bruschetta

  • 16 slices French or Italian bread
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped (about 2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions, slightly crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

RUB bread slices with garlic. Toast lightly.
COMBINE remaining ingredients.
SPOON about 2 tablespoons tomato mixture onto each bread slice. Top with additional French Fried Onions if desired.
