Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish plus
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish drained, and squeezed dry
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons whole-grain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cored Granny Smith apple with peel thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons finely-chopped red onion

Step 1

Whisk all of the ingredients except for the apple and the onion in a large bowl until well blended. Add the apple and onion, and fold in gently. Refrigerate for several hours to allow the flavors to blend.
