Ingredients
- 3 lbs. small whole mushrooms
- 1/3 cup butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cups light cream (cereal cream)
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Saute mushrooms in butter for five minutes. Do not brown. Remove and set aside.
Stir flour into mushroom butter and cook until foamy.
Add cream and whisk until boiling. Lower heat, add mushrooms and simmer until heated.
Add almonds, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
