Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4-6 medium green bell peppers
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice or Minute Rice
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 egg
Preparation
Step 1
Wash bell peppers, cut in half and seed, place in microwavable dish.
Combine the ground beef,chopped onion,rice,ketchup,worcestershire sauce,egg,salt and 1/4 cup tomato sauce,mix throughly.
Fill each half of pepper with the meat mixture.
In a measuring cup add the remaining tomato sauce with 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/4 cup of water, stir and pour over the top of the peppers.
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 75% power for approx 20-28 minutes.
