Honey Roasted Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 tbs water
  • 2 tbs canola oil (you can also substitute Peanut Oil)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the peanuts on a baking sheet and in a preheated oven for 10 minutes.
(If the peanuts are already roasted, skip this step) Set the peanuts aside and let cool.

In a medium sized sauce pan add the honey, water and oil.
Bring to a boil and add the peanuts. Stir around for a few minutes,
until all of the liquid has been absorbed by the nuts.

Transfer into a medium bowl and toss with the sugar and salt.
Spread back on the baking sheet with wax paper, let cool. Enjoy!
