Emeril's M&M cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup softened butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 large egg
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 cups M&Ms or half cup semi sweet, half cu sweet and half cup white chocolate chips.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 - centre of oven.
Mix butter and two sugars until well creamed.
Add vanlla, 1 large egg and mix on medium. Scrape down bowl.

Add flour, baking powder and baking soda and salt and mix on low speed.

Mix in the M&Ms with a wooden spoon.

Form on cookie sheet and bake for about 20 mins.
