Strawberry Salad with Pretzels

Ingredients
- 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
- 2 3 oz. packages strawberry jello
- 2 10 oz. packages frozen strawberries
- 3/4 cup melted margarine
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups boiling water

Step 1
Combine pretzels, margarine and 3 T. sugar in 9x13x2 pan and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
Cool.
Mix cream cheese and 1 cup sugar together well, fold in Cool Whip, then spread over cooled pretzels.
Disssolve jello in boiling water, then add frozen strawberries. Let set about 8 minutes allowing strawberries to thaw.
(Note: sets up quickily). Pour on top of cream cheese mixture.
