Mom's Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 chicken breast cooked and cubed
  • 1/2 cup uncooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

1. Pour broth into 4-quart or larger slow cooker. Add carrots, celery, and onion.

2. Cover. Cook on low 2 hours.

3. Add chicken and noodles.

4. Cover. Cook on low 1 more hour and serve. Stir in freshly ground black pepper to taste.
