Ingredients
- 2 pie shells cooked
- 2 pounds pork
- 1 pound beef
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup instant potatoes

Step 1
Make and bake 2 pie shells.
Cook beef and pork until meat changes color. Pour off excess fat. Add onion, onion soup, and spices. Cover meat with water and let simmer. Adjust spices to taste.
Just before filling your pie shells with meat, add about 1/4 cup instant potatoes to meat mixture. Bake about 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
