Flan

Ingredients

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 each egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

MELT sugar in small saucepan over low to medium heat until golden brown. Watch constantly and stir occasionally. Pour into 8 custard cups. Allow to cool and harden.

IN blender or mixer, blend eggs and sweetened milk. Add evaporated milk, vanilla, and reblend. Pour over caramelized sugar.

SET custard cups in larger pan/s of water. Bake at 350 for 45-60 min. A knife inserted in center comes out clean when flan is done.

REMOVE cups from pan of water and cool. Store in refrigerator at least 6-8 hours. Invert to serve.
