    Cups Flaked Coconut

    Cup Pecans, chopped

    Container (16 oz.) Coconut Pecan Frosting

  • 1

    Box German Chocolate Cake Mix

  • 1 1/3

    Cups Water

  • 4

    Eggs

  • 1

    Cup Milk Chocolate Chips

  • 1/3

    Cup Vegetable Oil

  • Whipped Cream, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13" x 9" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spread coconut in prepared dish. Sprinkle pecans over coconut. Spoon frosting by tablespoonfuls over pecans. Do not spread. Combine cake mix, water, eggs, chocolate chips and oil in large bowl; beat 1-2 minutes or until well blended. Spread batter in prepared pan over frosting. Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert onto serving plate; serve warm. Top with whipped cream if desired.
