  • 1 cup Drifted Snow "Home-Perfected" flour
  • 1 cup Sperry Yellow Corn Meal,uncooked
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking power
  • 2 eggs, slighty beaten
  • 1 cup melted butter (or part butter and shortening)



Step 1

Sift flour, measure and sift again with remaining dry ingredients.
Add eggs and milk and blend in melted butter last.
Pour into a well-greased 8-inch square pan and bake in a hot oven,
425 degrees, for 25 minutes.
When done, cut in squares and serve hot.
