Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bellpeppers
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 lb. boiled shrimp, chopped
  • pinch of parsley
  • 1 T flour
  • 1/2 lb. claw crab meat
  • pinch of green onion
  • 24 medium mushrooms (stems off for stuffing)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute, bell pepper, celery and onion in margarine.
Mix bread crums, flour, eggs, green onions and parsley. Combine with saute mixture and seafood, mix well. Fill mushrooms. Dip in a batter of egg and milk, then in flour and finally in bread crums. Fry until golden brown.
