Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup rum
- 4-6 shortcakes
- 1 cup whipping cream
- Dash of powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Wash strawberries and remove stems
Slice strawberries and put in a bowl
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Add rum.
Let stand 2-3 hours in a cool place. Fold gently after 1 hour
Divide strawberries among shortcakes. Pour juices from bowl over them.
Garnish with whipped cream, seasoned with powdered sugar.
