Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (90 % lean)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 slices pimiento process cheese
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons catsup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated biscuits

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef in skillet with salt, pepper and garlic power over medium flame, stirring occasionally. Add onion after beef is partially browned. Place mixture in shallow 1 - 1/2 quart baking dish. Arrange cheese slices in layer over top. In a small bowl combine tomato sauce, catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour sauce over cheese. Arrange biscuits on top of sauce. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are browned.
