Sausage-Parmesan Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 24 medium whole fresh mushrooms (about 1 pound)
- 1/2 pound sweet (mild) Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 11/2 cups PREGO Regular Spaghetti Sauce or PREGO Three Cheese Spaghetti Sauce, divided
- 1/4 cup Italian-seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated STELLA Parmesan Cheese (1 ounce)

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove stems from mushrooms; finely chop stems.
2. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook chopped mushroom stems, sausage and onion until sausage is thoroughly cooked and no pink remains, stirring to separate meat. Remove from heat. Spoon off fat.
3. Stir into sausage mixture 1/4 cup of spaghetti sauce, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup cheese. Spread remaining 11/4 cups spaghetti sauce in 12- by 8-inch baking dish.
4. Fill mushroom caps with sausage mixture; arrange filled caps in saue in baking dish. Bake 20 minutes or until suace is hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired.
