Golden Maple Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C fresh pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 C maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 C milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 unbaked 11" pie shell, well chilled.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425F

Put pumpkin in a large bowl and add the syrup, milk, and eggs; mix until smooth. Stir in the dry ingredients and conmbine thoroughly. Pour into pie shell and bake for approx. 40 minutes, until filling is firm and a knife inserted in center comes out cleam. Let cool on a rack before serving.
