Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast, 1tsp. sugar, 1/4c warm water
- 1 c whole milk warmed to room temperature or 120 degrees max.
- 3 1/2 oz. sugar
- 2 3/4 oz. unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 lbs. a. p. flour
- Filling: 8oz. brown sugar, 2T cinnamon, 2 3/4oz. butter melted
- Icing: 4oz. butter (soft), 2oz. cream cheese(soft), 8oz. powdered sugar, 1/2tsp. vanilla, 1/4tsp. salt

Step 1
. Make the filling by mixing the ingredients and reserving for later use
. Make the icing by mixing the ingredients and reserving for later use
. Place the milk, sugar and the butter in a sauce pan and warm over low heat to dissolve the sugar
. Proof the yeast with 1tsp. sugar, 1/4c water for 5 minutes
. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly, dough should be moist but not overly sticky, you may add a little flour a little at a time until the desired consistency is achieved. Should come away from the sides of the mixing bowl cleanly and form a ball
. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place
. When dough is done rising, punch down and roll out into a rectangle on a floured surface
. Brush the surface with the melted butter evenly, sprinkle on the filling generously, leaving about a 1/2" border around the dough with no filling, starting at the edge closest to you roll dough tightly, cut dough into even rounds and place cut side down onto a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown
. Partially cool rolls and top with icing
