GMC Pound Cake 1 Picture


  • 5 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 sticks margarine , room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Crisco (crisco butter sticks)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups plain flour (sift 2 times)
  • (I used Swan's Down Cake flour, sifted once before measure, then sifted measured amount again)
  • 1 cup milk

Step 1

Preheat oven 325 degrees.

Cream butter and Crisco.
Add sugar (same amounts).
Add eggs (one at a time).
Add vanilla.
Add flour and milk alternately (1cup flour, 1/3 cup milk)
Bake at 325 for 1 hours 30 minutes.
