Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons evaporated skim milk
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar or dutch cocoa

Preparation

Step 1


1. In a small saucepan, heat evaporated milk. Add chocolate chips and stir together until chocolate chips are completely melted. Mix in chopped cherries. Cool slightly.

2. Portion chocolate using a scant 1 tablespoon measure into 1-inch round balls and roll in palm of hand. Coat with powdered sugar or cocoa and place on sheet pan 1-inch apart.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
