Ingredients
- 2-3 onions, diced
- 2-3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1-2 lbs. ground beef
- 48 oz. tin tomato juice
- 1 small tin tomato paste
- Salt & pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- Sugar, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions, celery and green pepper to soften, not cook. Add meat; cook until redness is lost. Add liquids and condiments. Simmer 45 minutes to an hour, covered.
