Ingredients

    cups pecan halves

  • 3

    tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1

    teaspoon salt

Directions

In large roasting pan, spread pecans one or two layers deep. Roast at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring once. Remove from oven and pour melted butter over pecans. Stir with a wooden spoon to coat nuts. Return to oven for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times. Add salt, and stir to coat. Roast 5 to 10 minutes more.
