Cheese Burst Biscuits

  • 1-10 oz. can refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 2 1/2 oz. Cheddar cheese, cut into 10-3/4-inch cubes
  • 1 T. milk
  • Garlic salt, sesame seed, caraway, or poppy seed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Partially separate each biscuits into 2 layers; insert 1 cheese cube. Press edge to seal well. Place filled biscuits on ungreased cookie sheet. Cut a deep X on top of each biscuit. Brush with milk. Sprinkle with garlic salt, sesame seed, caraway or poppy seed. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
