Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 Rice A Roni Chicken (6.9 oz package)
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet, saute rice-vermicelli mix with butter or margarine over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.

Stir in water, seasoning mix, and chicken; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer 10 min; add broccoli. Simmer additional 5 min or until water is absorbed.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and let stand 5 min. before serving.
