Ingredients
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Grease 15x10x1-inch pan, line with wzed paper, grease paper. Sift flour cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Beat eggs until thick and creamy. Gradually add sugar beating until very thick. Stir in vanilla and water. Fold in flour mixture and spread in pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Take cake and place on towel sprinkled with powdered sugar. Roll up chocolate cake, cool; then unroll, take off waxed paper (if still on). Spread with ice cream, roll up, and put in freezer. Slice and eat.
NOTE: Mom had this in the refrigerator most of the time.
