Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes washed and dried
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika or desired amount
  • 1 Teaspoon course salt
  • 1/8 Teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cumin

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450
Cut potatoes into strips, as desired, peeled or unpeeled
Soak potatoes for 30 minutes. Drain and blot dry with paper towels
Combine dry ingredients in a Ziplock bag. Add potatoes, drizzle oil, seal and shake to cover
Spread potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Do not crowd, single layer only
Bake 20-25 minutes. Or longer depending on size of fry. Remove once potatoes begin to brown and crisp on edges
