Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lbs. Pork Roast
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic, and paprika
- 1 large onion sliced thin
- 2 jars sauerkraut
Preparation
Step 1
Rub desired amount of spices into meat well and brown roast. Add onion and pressed garlic to roast and continue to brown until onions are light brown. Add a little hot water and let simmer; repeat this 3 to 4 times. Then add more water and bake roast until half done. Take roast out. Put sauerkraut (rinsed) into roasting pan. Fill with water until sauerkraut is covered. Add meat and bake until finished at 375 degrees. Use meat thermometer. Serve with mashed potatoes and hot buns.
