Ingredients

  • Nana's: 400* 6-8 min
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Butter Crisco
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • Butter Recipe: 400* 6-8 min
  • 1 cup 10 x sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 2 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Extra Tender: 300* 15-20 min
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup 10 x sugar
  • 1 3/8 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • This recipe is unique in process, sift dry ingr. together. Mix in butter until soft dough forms.
  • Gingerbread: 400* 7-10 min
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp each baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp each salt, ground cloves and ginger

Preparation

Step 1

-Basic directions for each type.(with the exception of one)
-Mix together dry ingredients and set aside.
-Cream together sugar and butter.
-Beat in eggs and flavorings.
-Mix in dry ingredients to combine.
