Cheese Bisquits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 Tbsp chilled unsalted butter
  • 1 cup coarsely shredded cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in the butter using a pastry blender or two knives. Stir in the cheese. Add enough buttermilk to make a thick dough.
Cook for 15 minutes at 450F.
