Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and slice fresh peaches. Add 1 cup sugar, mix and let stand. Set aside.
Melt 1 stick oleo in a 2 quart casserole.
Dough:
Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, milk, and salt.
Place dough on top of melted oleo.
Place peaches on to of dough.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350.
Serve with cool whip or ice cream.
