Kielbasa in Beer Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sausage
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch, mixed with a b it of water (2 to 3)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp horseradish

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place whole sausage in pan with water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cut sausage into diagonal slices. Return to skillet.

2. Add the cup of beer. Cover and simmer 10 mins.

3. Add sugar and cornstarch, stir in remaining ingredients. Cook and stir until bubbly.

Good and easy. Not our favorite kielbasa recipe, but good enough to repeat.
