How to Make Vegan Feta Cheese

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1 1/2 cups
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 pkg. firm tofu

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together the oil, water, vinegar, salt, basil, pepper and oregano in a large bowl.

Crumble the tofu in a small bowl into small pieces.

Place the tofu in the large bowl, and allow it to marinade at room temperature for at least 1 hour.

Put the cheese in a sealable container and refrigerate to store.
