Meat Loaf with Mozzerella Cheese 0 Picture


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp. horseradish mustard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 6 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce


Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 75mins


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly mix together meat, bread crumbs, egg and seasonings. Place on waxed paper, shape into 10 x 14 inch rectangle. Layer cheese over meat. Roll from shorter size, jelly roll fashion. Press end to seal. Carefully transfer to shallow baking pan, seam side down. Combine catsup, water and Worcestershire sauce, pour most of sauce over meat. Bake for 1 hour, draining off grease and basting with remaining sauce.
