Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 cup chopped dried fruit pieces
- ( such as apricots )
- 1 teaspoon butter
Preparation
Step 1
Bring the water and rice to a boil together. Add the butter and the fruit. Turn heat to low, and cover pan with a tight-fitting lid. Allow to steam-cook for 20 minutes. ( Do not lift pan's lid during cooking time. ) When liquid has been absorbed, fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
