Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbls baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400.

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

In a small bowl, combine egg, milk and oil and whip with a fork.

Take milk mixture and start pouring over the dry mixture, use a fork to barely moisten the dry mixture.

Pour into a well greased 8x8 pan. Bake for 25 minutes.

Serve with honey butter.
