Marty's Orange Marmalade Cornish Hens

Marty prepares this and I haven't tweaked it - it's his and he cooks it!
I don't know where it came from, but it is very tasty and very simple!

Ingredients

  • 4 Cornish Game Hens
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade (low-sugar varieties are fine)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Melt orange marmalade and butter in a sauce pan or in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave for about one minute. Stir until combined. You do not want it boiling hot.
Place breast-side up in a baking dish. Baste the glaze onto the skins of the Cornish hens.
Bake uncovered for 75 minutes.
