Grandma's Red Stew

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. veal, cubed
  • 1 big onion, or 2 medium
  • 1 green pepper
  • tomatoes
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 heaping teaspoon paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Saute the green pepper and onion in some oil until tender. Add salt and pepper. Add paprika, don't let it burn. Add meat immediately, stir well. Add tomatoes. Lower the heat and cover. Check within 5-10 minutes to make sure there is enough juice. If not enough, add some liquid from the tomatoes. There should be enough juice to cover the meat initially.
