Indian Fry Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tbls baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup lukewarm milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients with milk to make the consistency of biscuit dough. Roll out on floured board to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 2x3 inch squares. Pinch a hole in the middle and fry in deep fat. Turn only once. Serve with honey or syrup.
