Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Evaporated Milk
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 Cups Coconut, flaked
  • 1 Cup Pecans, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except coconut and pecans in a saucepan, stir and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, about 12 minutes. Add flaked coconut and chopped pecans. Beat frosting until thick enough to spread on cooled between layers and on top of German chocolate cake.
