Marshmallow Crispie Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 package Duncan Hines® Milk Chocolate Chunk Decadent Brownie Mix
  • Water, Oil and eggs called for on brownie mix package
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup crisp rice cereal

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 8x8-inch baking pan.
2.Combine brownie mix with water, oil and eggs in large bowl with wooden spoon until blended. Spread batter into prepared pan
3.Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted 1-inch from edge of pan comes out clean.
4.Sprinkle marshmallows on hot brownies and return to the oven for 3 minutes or until marshmallows are softened. Remove from oven and place pan on wire rack.
5.Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes or until smooth. Stir in rice cereal. Spread chocolate mixture over marshmallow layer.
6.Cool on wire rack 20 minutes, then refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chilled. Cut into bars.
